Welcome to John M. Tutt Middle School, Home of the Dragons, one of Georgia's finest Middle Schools. I am proud to say that Tutt Middle School has a long history of excellence in education and our chief priority is providing students with high academic and social standards in a secure and productive environment. Our faculty and staff are committed to continuous school improvement in order to enable students to become confident, self-directed, life-long learners. I encourage parents, family members and those in the local and global community to become a vital part of the educational process at Tutt Middle School. Through this collaborative effort, we can provide meaningful opportunities for our students to develop positive relationships, which will build a strong educational community.

Mr. Nathan Benedict, Principal

Dear 8th Grade Parents,

Can you believe it is time to register your student for high school?  The first half of the year has flown by so quickly and yes, it is time for our 8th graders to complete registration paperwork for the 2015-16 school year.  I have discussed directions and answered questions about how to complete the registration forms with your child.

Westside has also presented information to your 8th grader about the Career Pathway classes and requirements.  Please review the registration parent letter and Program of Study Graduation Requirement information that your child received Tuesday, December 9th.  These are yours to keep.

The pink registration request form that your child brings home should be completed and returned to Dr. Brewton in Guidance by Friday, December 12th.

It is extremely important that the pink registration form is completed and returned by the deadline so that you and your child can request their electives and pathway classes.

Please keep in mind that these are requests only and will not guarantee that your child will be registered in their choice of classes, but every effort will be made to honor the elective and pathway classes your child requests. Copies of these forms are available here for you to  view.

If you have any questions about the registration procedures , please feel free to contact me.

Thank you,

Dr. Regina Brewton
